Worship Ministries Team Leaders:
 Kevin & Jamie started attending Northwest Community Church in the fall of 2006. They have two children: Brooklyn, age 5, and Atley, age 4, and are expecting number three in April. Kevin began leading worship at age 17 and Jamie at age 18, both for high school youth groups. Jamie went on to be part of the Intervarsity Worship Team at the University of Northern Colorado while Kevin lead various teams at Wheaton College in Illinois. Married in 2000, they begin leading together, primarily at the Elgin Vineyard Fellowship near Chicago. In 2005, they moved to Philadelphia, spending 18 months pioneering a worship team in conjunction with a new city outreach.
Jamie is a stay-at-home mom, a master of important activities such as play dates, bike rides, and grilled cheese sandwiches. She is also a Scottish dance instructor and performs with the Denver Bagpipe Band as a dancer.
Kevin works full time for a large construction company. He is also a Master's swim team coach and competes in swimming on a national level. Amid a busy schedule, he even manages to play a few rounds of golf each summer.
For the last decade, worship had been the centerpiece of Kevin & Jamie's ministries. Their heart is to find that genuine place where a Christian can be real with God, forsaking the façade of religion and embracing a relationship marked by honesty and intimacy. |
